Founded in 2020 by an engineer with a long professional career in the highly specialized niche of synthetic aperture radars (SAR), Radarmetrics is working on the development of instruments based on that technology but in much smaller dimensions than those currently in use, and at a significantly lower cost. The company has seven employees and is working on what is so far its largest contract: the design and manufacture of an instrument to measure, in Greenland, the impact of ice melting on ocean circulation.
